Asst. professor Weizmann's Nucleic Acid Detection team named finalists in Innovation Fund's spring 2016 cycle
Today the Chicago Innovation Exchange announces five teams as finalists to compete in the Innovation Fund’s Spring 2016 Cycle, moving each of them one step farther in their journey to commercialize their innovative discoveries and technologies. Twice per year, the Fund accepts applications and invests in emerging technologies and startups out of The University of Chicago and its affiliates, Argonne National Laboratory, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and the Marine Biological Laboratory. To date, the Fund has invested $3.9 million in 54 startups, with each new cycle bringing ever more advanced projects from an even wider group of researchers.
