Professor Emeritus Don Q. Lamb's opinion piece on the impact of losing foreign university students published in Chicago Tribune

Fewer international students are attending colleges in the U.S.; this results in lost economic opportunities and a growing risk to our national security. Under current U.S. law, international students must have “single intent” — meaning they will only come here to study. A simple change, which has had bipartisan support in Congress, is to allow international students to have “dual intent;” they can come here to study and can then apply to stay.
